Could you be the leader of Festive? Festive is a bit like Fusion or UCCF but for FE colleges. In their own words:
Festive was formed in 2007 by a small group of people with experience of ministering in Further Education who were keenly aware of and concerned about the lack of support available to Christian students staff and chaplains in this part of the education sector. Working in partnership with Scripture Union and UCCF, through prayerful obedience to God and through His gracious provision of resources, much has been achieved.
Some friends’ church St Mark’s Kensal Rise are looking for a children and young youth (0-14’s) worker. You can get the –impressively well written– job description here.
Context – St Mark’s is a vibrant, multi-cultural local community church in the heart of North West London with a vision to ‘Live and Share the Love of Jesus’ through worshipping God wholeheartedly, growing in faith continually, loving each other sincerely, leading people to Jesus sensitively and blessing our communities generously. The church currently has a membership of more than 280 people with a Sunday morning service attendance of 150-250, of which 50-80 are children and youth. The role of the ‘Children & Younger Youth Worker’ is to build and grow the church’s ministry to young people ages 0-14 enabling them to flourish as individuals and live out the church’s vision.
Trinity Cheltenham are advertising for an associate pastor for youth to work alongside the existing youth pastor. I know little about this church, but the first task of the role profile is this;
Pray, read and meditate on the Bible, listen to the Holy Spirit, follow
the Lord’s voice in building His Kingdom and be accountable to others
for both work and spiritual life.
So, we like them. (The role profile is pretty damn good. It’s worth reading it and saving it just so you can adapt it when you have to advertise for a youth worker.)
Thrive is a youth project based on an estate in Oxford in partnership with the local church there. They’re looking for a new youth worker, but also a director to start up new projects on other estates. Closing date for both of those is the 25th April
This is a great job of if you want to do gospel-centred youth ministry and evangelism in an inner city. Senior Youth Worker – Frampton Park Baptist Church, Hackney, East London
My diocese, the Diocese of London, is looking to appoint a youth ministry advisor to support parishes and youth workers as they seek to do ministry reaching the diocese. You’d get to see me every now and again (probably), so chalk that up in the pro or con column when you think about applying for this. It would be great if really solid, experienced, Godly people applied for this. The closing date is soon though, and you can’t just download the forms from the website, so move fast.
Here’s a post for a Youth and Children’s worker at Christ Church Surbiton Hill.
We are looking for a youth and children’s worker to have oversight of children’s and youth ministries 0-18 years. The primary focus will be ages 7-14, with direct involvement in the running and planning of sessions along with the development and motivation of a team of leaders willing to serve in this area.
Christ Church is an Anglican church in Surbiton. We long to see our children and young people come to faith in Christ and be equipped to live for Christ in today’s world.
Big job going. Youthwork magazine and Childrenswork magazine are after a new editor. It’s one of the more influential positions in Christian youth work in the UK. Your first job could be re-branding the magazines as “Youth Work” and “Children’s Work”, that way they’re actual real words.

St Michael Le Belfrey is one of those big churches that I feel I should know a lot about but I don’t. If you do get this job, let me know what it’s like yeah?

We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic person to lead our youth ministry whilst our youth minister is on maternity leave. Working with a team of volunteers, you will be hands on in leading and teaching our community of 45 young people.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone exploring or feeling called to youth ministry and will provide great experience of working at the heart of a lively and growing church alongside many other ministries.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a vibrant personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be passionately committed to seeing young people grow in their faith.
The person you’d be maternity covering for is pretty ace, but then so is the church.
