Should teachers ever physically touch a child?

"The answer is that as teachers are increasingly concerned by the problems that could be caused by any kind of physical contact, they're withdrawing from the children."

I've said it before, but if your child protection policy says you can't touch a child you work with under any circumstance, then it's a crap child protection policy.
